Brock Martin co-founded Orion Capital Partners, a privately held commercial real estate investment firm, in 2005. As the Managing Partner, Brock is focused on the financial responsibilities of the business both internally as well as for our partners and the projects we develop together. In addition, Brock oversees business development utilizing his experience in healthcare real estate, seniors housing, and high-density residential, as well as experience in retail, office and retail development, and brokerage.
Under Brock’s leadership, Orion Capital Partners has developed more than $100M in new construction projects and acquired more than $100M in existing income-producing real estate assets. In January of 2007, Orion Capital Partners advised Midwest Mall Properties in a $390M acquisition of three regional malls from the Macerich Corporation. Brock handled all negotiations with the seller, financial modeling, due diligence, debt & equity structuring, and closing.
Brock is a graduate of the University of Iowa School of Business. He currently serves on the executive board of Easter Seals of Arkansas as Treasurer and Chairman of the Finance and Building Committee and board of directors of Boy Scouts of America Quapaw Area Council. Additionally, he has previously served on the boards of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Arkansas Chapter, Centers for Youth and Families, the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra board of Advisors, and the Arkansas Hockey Association.
Ben Lester is co-owner of Orion Capital Partners, a privately held commercial real estate investment firm that has offices in Bentonville and Little Rock, Arkansas. Ben has 19 years of experience in commercial real estate and has broad expertise in investment, development, brokerage, and leasing.
Ben focuses primarily on identifying new acquisition and development opportunities for the company. Today, Orion Capital Partners has a diverse portfolio exceeding 1 million square feet of commercial property spread across eight states. The portfolio encompasses various commercial real estate segments, including medical office buildings, dental clinics, ambulatory surgery centers, urgent care centers, early childhood education centers, general office properties, and build-to-rent residential communities.
Ben resides in Northwest Arkansas with his wife Cole and their three children: Virginia (10), John Philip (9), and Eleanor (5). Ben and his family attend Cross Church in Springdale, Arkansas, and are proud members of the Shiloh Christian School community. In his leisure time, Ben enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling with his family. Ben attended the University of Arkansas and graduated with a degree in Finance and Real Estate. Ben also serves on the board of the ARcare Foundation, a not-for-profit that supports wellness and economic development in Arkansas.
Burke has 23 years of experience in the real estate industry and has been involved in all aspects of real estate and real estate development, from identifying sites to the entitlement process, development and construction phases, lease-up, and stabilization. From 1998 to 2005, Burke was VP of Development with ERC Development Group, LLC. While there, he led a division that developed over 3,600 multifamily and single-family residences.
In addition to multi-family projects, Burke has experience developing medical offices, general offices, hotels, restaurants, and retail properties. He has been involved in all phases of development, from planning and site selection to construction management and leasing. Burke understands what it takes to create a successful development.
As a former City Council member, Burke also draws on his experience in bringing municipalities and developers together to create economically viable developments with long-term value. Burke loves real estate, the people, the deals, and all that comes along with the acquisition and development processes. Burke is an Arkansas native and received a BA in Journalism and Public Relations from Arkansas Tech University.
